Thank you for yet another great video Robbie! I noticed you haven't mentioned using a roller to press everything in for good see to soil contact. Would it be good to do this after covering the seeds? Or maybe after using the lawn lute whereby in that case you wouldn't water until all is done, otherwise everything will stick to the roller?

A quick question though: should we carry out all of the tasks mentioned in your "lawn care calendar" playlist as a good comprehensive care program? Or do we pick and choose according to needs, obviously there is no one size fits all...Unless u fancy a few wee jobs in Germany?😂 Again, thank u

Your the go to for all my lawn fixes on UA-cam big fella. I normally don’t have to ask any questions tho. I don’t have a leather jacket problem and the lawn is in good order but there are small white slugs appearing in good numbers from time to time. Do they damage the lawn and if so how do you get rid of without damaging anything else? Keep er lit👍🏻

@@Premier_lawns_official this is true but the planet time frame is the only difference between cool and warm season grass. I’m in the transition zone in the states.I have a Bluemuda lawn in the back yard and full Bermuda in the front. But this fall I’ll be overseeing with Kentucky blue grass in the front. The mix of the top is insane. I also need a roller.

We had a lot of daddy long legs (craneflies) in the Autumn (fall) in the North West of England. I applied nematodes in October and kept the lawn watered for 3 weeks. I tried to time it so the nematodes were active after the eggs have hatched. I haven’t seen much evidence of the lawn suffering from the grubs over the spring, or birds pecking, so it might have worked. You can also spray the lawn with garlic in the autumn, which will repel the insects (arachnids) to some extent - as long as there are other grassy areas (the neighbours’ lawn 🙂) they will go there to lay their eggs.
